We are all made up of different personalities, learning styles, with unique backgrounds and home environments. As parents, teachers, and administrators, it’s difficult to assess dimensions of ability with individual students, let alone a classroom of students!  We can help.

Pearson, in partnership with well-respected authors, offers a wide variety of accommodating cultural and linguistic diversity tools that assess dimensions of ability including cognition and intelligence, reasoning, problem-solving, and learning potential.

Friday, November 16 | 2:00PM - 2:30PM
Location:  M100H

There are research-based practical ways to recognize the more than 725,000 Black and Hispanic gifted students who often have not been identified. Suggestions to find and teach these students are provided, including how to use data in a matrix, local norms, and different measures of ability, and implications of the U-46 court case. We can make a difference!
